Ferruccio Furlanetto as Don Quixote with Valery Gergiyev, right, conductor and artistic director of the Mariinsky Theater, thank the audience after performing in the opera "Don Quixote", a five-act heroic comedy with the libretto by Henri Caïn based on Jacques le Lorrain's play "The Knight of the Rueful Countenance" and Miguel de Cervantes' novel "The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha". The opera was performed at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater as part of the opening of the Golden Mask festival in Moscow.
